You might ask how Nature’s Animals Dog Biscuit Company got their start. It all began twelve years ago on a weekend get-away in the quaint setting of New England. Over the course of time, Tim and Dee O’Brien had been discussing the idea of starting their own business. As dog owners, they knew there was a need in the dog biscuit market for a more wholesome and healthy dog biscuit. They had discussed their idea with Tim’s father, who actually had a recipe for a healthier dog biscuit. It was on this weekend get-away that Tim and Dee decided to “go for it!” Subsequently, a challenging and rewarding journey began and the Nature’s Animals Dog Biscuit Company was born.

Tim’s dad, Mike, owned a small family bakery in Connecticut. With the help of his father, Tim and Dee were able to perfect Mike’s dog biscuit recipe. Both Tim and Dee continued in their regular jobs until they felt the time was right. They knew they were on to something very special. In their hearts they felt that the “best” dog biscuit, combined with their passion and love of dogs, was the right recipe for success, and it was!
